We chose the RK27114 because it’s one of the most important components of the amp, the one you interact with all the time.

The vast majority of the total production cost of Magnius—chassis, boards, transformers, assembly, etc—goes to US companies manufacturing in the US. Chassis are made minutes from Schiit Audio facility. PCBs are done just over the hill. Yes, the wall-warts are made in Taiwan, but there's some give and take at this price point.
